COFECUB is the French Committee for the Evaluation of Academic and Scientific Cooperation with Brazil.
This framework agreement of inter-universities cooperation aims at continuing high-level exchanges by promoting the exchange of knowledge and high-level professionals in Brazil and France.
Joint research projects will be selected to stimulate exchanges between higher education and research institutions in Brazil and in France. The programme is open to all fields and aims at establishing cooperation on a scientific joint project including doctoral and postdoctoral training.
2 types of projects depending on the experience of the proponent
In order to revitalise the pool of new collaborations, this call for proposals has included two types of applications since 2024: projects led by experienced researchers (with more than 10 years of doctoral experience) and those led by young researchers (with less than 10 years of doctoral experience).
Objectives
- To deepen the cooperation between researchers and educators from institutions in Brazil and France.
- To contribute to the academic-scientific mobility of students, teachers and researchers, linked to post-graduate programmes in the participating countries.
- To support joint research projects developed by Brazilian and French groups.
- To promote projects that enable innovation and the transfer and absorption of knowledge
- To encourage the creation of research networks.
- To promote the improvement of students and researchers in the consolidation phase of their careers, through academic internships abroad internships abroad.
What is offered
Projects should last up to four years.
